Briefly
I'm a career cybersecurity practitioner and entrepreneur with more than thirty years in the information security field.
I was born and raised in Georgia, and I studied Computer Information Systems at Georgia State University, graduating in 1996. I spent the years before Raxis in key cybersecurity roles at GE Energy, The Home Depot, and Symantec.
I started Raxis in 2011 to help companies improve cybersecurity with a team of ethical hackers that act as a real attacker would.
Raxis has since grown into a leading penetration testing firm with clients across the US and overseas. The thing I've worked hardest to protect along the way is our culture. I want people who stay curious and keep learning, because attackers don't sit still and we can't either.

What I work on
- 01Penetration testing & red teaming at Raxis Adversarial testing of corporate defenses. This is the work Raxis was founded to do well.
- 02AI-supported offensive security We use AI to make our pentests faster and more thorough. A human tester still decides every action.
- 03New cybersecurity initiatives Finding the next thing Raxis should be doing, then building it into a service.
- 04Security as an enabler Good security finds a way to say yes. I work to make it the function that helps the business move.
- 05Building applications at Decrypted Systems Decrypted Systems builds custom software for organizations that need it done right.
